I
The room
Bel-Aire occupies the open-air sixth-floor pool deck of JW Marriott Kuala Lumpur. The room itself is part of the attraction — three sides of horizon, one side of glass, a pool that catches the last of the sun and gives it back at eye-level. Cabanas, daybeds, and a bar terrace that opens to the Bukit Bintang skyline.
The bar is open-air without being exposed; lit without being bright; programmed without being predictable. On a Sunday it might be AmaPiano. On a Saturday it might be Afrobeats. On a Wednesday it might be a beer maker's tasting, or a wine buffet from the cellar Wine Plug runs.

The pool, after seven.

The programme
Programming is led by Wine Plug — Malaysia's quietly obsessive wine retailer, established 2017 — and rotates in monthly cycles. Music nights skew Afrobeats, RnB, hip hop, and AmaPiano; brand features have included Kirin Ichiban beer and Wine Plug's wine-buffet evenings. Recurring formats include Saturday Night Fever and an early-evening series of pour-led tasting nights.
— Programming rotates. The pool turns gold around 7:10. Both are dependable.

The host
Bel-Aire is independently operated by Wine Plug Club at an address inside JW Marriott Kuala Lumpur. The hotel is our location, not our operator — the programme, the cellar, and every agent who replies to a reservation is Wine Plug.
Reservations are confirmed via WhatsApp because that's how regulars reach us. There's no automated booking system, no table-tier upcharge, no phone tree. Message 017 7957 038 and an agent will reply.

The address
Bel-Aire, Level 6, JW Marriott Kuala Lumpur — 183 Jalan Bukit Bintang, 55100 Kuala Lumpur. Lift up from the JW main lobby; the bar is signposted past the pool. Bukit Bintang MRT is a six-minute walk; paid parking in-building.
— Take the lift up. Bring the right people.
